It's been almost a year since I was active here.  It has been a very busy year and I find that I don't have time to update my account much.  If you want to follow me I still post on facebook almost daily and I check messages in my etsy shop several times a day so that is probably the best way to contact me.  www.telahmarie.etsy.com

Days like this make it really hard to keep going. I love my job, working from home and creating new designs, however there is a dark side to the art world. There are liars and thieves who wait in the shadows looking to prey upon designers. I am currently struggling with a very persistent thief. She continues to copy my designs and has started marketing to other shops in order to sell them. She is turning my original, hand made works into mass produced junk and making money off of it. I just want to crawl into a hole sometimes and never come out. Imitation is not the sincerest form of flattery in this case. It is emotionally crippling. The legal process is expensive and drawn out. One of these days a resolution will come but until then It is only you guys, my faithful family, friends and fans who keep me going. Your encouragement and continued support mean the world to me. Thank you so much for supporting my little business.  

Well this is getting a little old.  I run across items copied from my designs on a regular basis and as annoying as it is I have almost gotten used to it.  Then this happens....  www.etsy.com/shop/PillowPaige  This person completely ripped off my merlin and sam winchester pillow almost down to the last detail.  What's funny is they listed them for exactly $1 less than mine.  lol.  Oh dear I have been one upped by you miss copycat, I may as well give up now and hand over the reigns of my pillow making empire to your completely unoriginal self.  Whatever.  So moral of the story is if it's not a Heart Felt Design product it is a copy.  Don't support idiots who steal from other artists.  If you can't afford one of my pillows and would like to try to make one for yourself, feel free.  Send me a picture even.  But if you are going to post it on facebook or deviantart etc.  you absolutely have to credit me for the design!  If you make one and list it to sell  I will come after you and depending on the kind of day i've had I may or may not be nice about it.
